9-11 conspiracies
Ok, I didn’t think I would get into the 9-11 debate, but this video prompted me to get in on the discussion - or at least post some links. The video shows the editors of Popular Mechanics debating the 9-11 conspiracy theorists at Loose Change. The Loose Change guys come off sounding young, inexperienced, and a little nutty. Their vision of the events of 9-11 looks something like this:
- Flight 93 didn’t crash into the ground in Pennsylvania - but we don’t know where that plane is or where the occupants of that airliner are.
- No plane crashed into the Pentagon, and it was more likely a cruise missile attack. Sorry, we don’t know where that flight and all of its occupants are either.
- Yes, a pair of airliners hit the World Trade Center, but the towers were pre-wired with explosives that remarkedly survived the impact of the aircraft and then were fired several minutes after the initial aircraft strikes.
The really funny thing in all of these conspiracy theories (which often come from the liberal left), is that George W. Bush, who they love to refer to as dumb and incompetent, is magically transformed into some great genius mastermind to have created these grand attacks. Even if we pull the president out of the mix, these theories depend on a great conspiracy, involving many government agencies and the military, that seamlessly came together to create this “perfect storm” of cataclysmic events. Yet, according to the lefties, these are the same agencies that have bungled nearly every other catastrophe to hit this country before and after. It just doesn’t make sense.

LOL…great points. These conspiracy theorists crack me up…..at the same time, they scare the hell out of me, because they really believe it.
