For any of you who have read some of my previous posts, you probably know that I am a gun owner and proud of it. You also know, that I have a conservative bent in my political philosophy. So, whenever I hear Rosie O’Donnell (who makes no bones about her hatred of gun ownership) speak, I feel like punching a wall.

Today was one of those days were I seriously felt like having an altercation with my domicile’s thin walls. I don’t get The View here in Iraq (or at least not when I can watch AFN), but through the magic of the internet, I can be exposed to yet another Rosie rant. Go here to see what I am talking about.

You may recall back in May of 1999 when O’Donnell ambushed Tom Selleck on her previous day-time talk show about his affiliation with the National Rifle Association. Selleck, who was on the show to plug a movie, ended up having to conduct a 9-minute debate with our girl Rosie - without preparation. A transcript can be found here.

This isn’t the first Rosie commentary on The View that has set me off. The first was her assertion that “radical” Christianity in America was just as dangerous as Islamofascism. Whatever. Here’s a post at Hot Air with a video of that particular event.
