Couldn’t blog, was on a "mission"
I wasn’t able to blog yesterday, mostly because my work day started at 0300 and didn’t end until around 1900. I had a similar work day just prior, with a similar work schedule. After a couple of days like that, all I was thinking about was eating dinner and going to bed. I snuck in a little play time with my 4-year-old, which mostly consisted of me laying on the floor half asleep and him jumping up and down on me.
Why the long days? My National Guard Civil Support Team (WMD) was going through what’s called “lanes” training with Army North. They came in, set up the exercise, and put us through our paces. To do it right, it can take many hours over several days, and so it did. I’ve got no complaints, however, since I learned quite a bit.
