The Army’s "God" gun
At the National Training Center, observer-controllers carried around something called a “God gun”. Those are electronic devices, shaped much like a pistol, that could “kill” any vehicle or person on the electronic battlefield during war games.
The Javelin missile, when employed at the NTC, was also often referred to as a “God gun”. Why? Because they are “fire and forget” (meaning once launched, it would lock on to the target on its own) and can kill ANYTHING. See the video below to see what I mean.
