Summer Freedom Concerts 2007
I can’t imagine that there are any of you conservatives out there that don’t know about this summer’s Freedom Concerts. But for those of you who don’t know about them, please go check out Sean Hannity’s web site for the summer Freedom Concerts.
These concerts raise scholarship money for children of slain soldiers. If you can attend with your family they can also benefit your own family. What better way to teach your kids the lesson that freedom isn’t free, than to bring them to this family oriented concert that in addition to raising money for the children of slain soldiers, also honors those who have been injured and those who are currently serving. Our kids are exposed to so much media that portrays our soldiers and their mission in a bad light or with a negative spin. Bringing your kids to an event like this can do so much to show your kids what our soldier are really like, their beliefs in the cause of liberty and freedom, and the sacrifice that so many have made so that they can grow up in a free and open society.
There are 5 concerts this year, in Georgia, California, Texas, Ohio and New Jersey. The concerts will feature some combination of the following superstars: Montgomery Gentry, LeAnne Rimes, Charley Daniels, and Lee Greenwood at the different venues. Col Oliver North, Newt Gingrich, Larry the Cable Guy and others will also be making special appearances. Visit the website to see who will be appearing in your area.
We hear so many people say the empty saying “we support our troops”, but their actions and other statements seem to contradict this statement. Those who really support the troops and their fight for freedom here and abroad, can present a real sign of their support by attending these concerts, or even just making a donation to the scholarship fund.

Freedom Alliance is such a great organization - I helped the daughter of a Navy SEAL who died in Afghanistan get a scholarship there. It has made a huge difference in her life - and, I don’t mean $$$ - though that was a help. It was knowing that people cared about her Dad.
