St. Cindy back, annoying as ever
She told the world that she was quitting the public limelight back at the end of May, but like the rotting corpse of a brain-eating zombie pulling itself out of the grave, St. Cindy is back. Gee, it only took about five weeks.
I’m not backing off. I tried to remove myself from the political realm of the US, what BushCo is turning into an Evil Empire, but the blatant audacity of George commuting Scooter’s sentence (he’s not ruling out a full pardon —and you know he will) has dragged me kicking and screaming back in. I can’t sit back and let this BushCo drag our country further down into the murky quagmire of Fascism and violence, taking the rest of the world with them!
*Eye roll*
OK, let’s break this one down. First, you are an attention whore who can’t let go of her 15 minutes. Second, you better look back at the last President, who pardoned 140 people in his final days in office - several of them big contributors to the Democratic Party, and many involved in drug trafficking, robberies, and fraud against the government. Cronyism, maybe, but hardly “Fascism”. Third - how does commuting a sentence of a guy who was busted on a white-collar crime have to do with “violence”?
So what else is driving St. Cindy back into the limelight? Well, it’s an Air Force officer who has decided he’s going to protest the war - among many other things. For those of you who read this blog regularly, I’ve noted several times here that as a military person, I am not allowed to publicly criticize the administration, members of Congress, and many other elected officials. There’s reasons for that and the ban is not just on criticism of the Party in power, but on all proscribed government officials.
A very dear friend of mine, Rev. Lennox Yearwood of the Hip Hop Caucus, is being harassed by the Air Force for “Conduct Unbecoming an Officer and a Gentleman” because “The Rev” fulfills his duty as an Officer and a Gentleman honorably by protesting Iraq and the Fascist Bush Regime almost constantly. The Rev is still in Individual Ready Reserve so the Air Force believes it is within its parameters to pursue the charges, although every “Officer and Gentleman(woman)” should be protesting the atrocious mistakes in the Middle East. After The Rev’s hearing on July 12th, (in Macon, GA) he is going to begin a “symbolic” walk from the Reverend Martin Luther King’s grave (Atlanta, GA) to DC—I am going to be there for him and to begin the march, but I am not going to make it symbolic.
According to “the Rev” himself, the Air Force is only seeking to honorably discharge him. People get honorably discharged for being overweight or failing multiple physical fitness tests. That’s hardly harassment. Harassment would have been court-martialing him and throwing him in Leavenworth. Sounds to me like this is just another excuse for him to protest something.
By the way, if you were wondering how Cindy and friends could march all the way from Atlanta, GA to Washington, D.C. in only a few days - they’re not.
We will be walking 8 hours a day, then driving to the next stop…in case people are wondering how we will get to DC on the 23rd.
Sounds pretty “symbolic” to me. It all sounds like Cindy’s so-called Troops Home Fast campaign which was supposed to be a bunch of people fasting until the U.S. had left Iraq. I don’t know about you, but I always thought that fasting meant you weren’t eating. In Cindy’s case, that isn’t so - as Michelle Malkin illustrated here - “it’s the best hunger strike I’ve ever been on…Ghandi never had it this good!”
Once again, style over substance from the left.

This woman is such a foul mouthed uniformed wretch - and she is a liar who can’t keep her promises - living up to the legacy she is trying to create for the President one step at a time.
Her son must be turning over in his grave right now to know that his mom is a fucking greedy loon.
