Biometrics used to stop known jihadis from entering U.S. bases in Iraq, Afghanistan
I wish we had these during my tour in Iraq. One of our biggest problems at the time was identifying who was who, and who should be allowed on to the base. We did our best to track and vet everyone who worked on the FOB, but it was a difficult task as there was no central database of biometric data for all of Iraq and the Middle East. Now, it looks like there is. The video does a good job of explaining how it all works.
