Lincoln on politicians who undermine a war effort
This is one of those quotes you pick up on the internet, and you really don’t know if they are valid. I’ve tried a couple of Lincoln quote sites and haven’t been able to find it. Nevertheless, even if he didn’t say it, he should have.
“Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale, and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled or hanged.”
~ Abraham Lincoln
I’ll leave it up to your own imagination as to which congressmen I am referring to.

I know who you’re talking about, but since I just took my oath a couple of days ago (I enlisted in the Marine Corps), I don’t think I can talk about it.
Congratulations! I hope you have a good career. Being in the military has its ups and downs, and there have been times I’ve thought about getting out, but I’ve stuck it out and never regretted making it my life’s occupation.
Thanks! I’m happy about it. I think I made a good decision.
Congratulations This Guy!!!!
I am proud of you!
And, grateful!!!
