Video: Obama tells us what he’ll do to the U.S. military

Here's a Styker from the FOB I was on. The 'bird cage' of slats around the vehicle help stop RPG rounds.
This is the Perfume Palace on Victory Base Complex in Baghdad. The story I heard was that this was once where Saddam and his boys kept their extra-curricular female companions. Now, it houses contractors.
This graffiti showed up on some walls in a local national parking lot not long before I left. I was told it is a memorial to locals who had worked for the USA and been killed.
Here's one of my soldiers manning the gunner's post. This was during one of our trips into Qayyarah.
This gentleman was herding sheep around our FOB. The area we were in was predominantly farm and sheep-herding country.
This mosque, I was told, was Saddam's personal mosque near the Al Faw palace. Now, it's located on Victory Base Complex.
This ammo can was on the top of one of our HMMWVS and took the force of a IED attack. It probably saved the life of the gunner.
During training, we fired our weapons many times. Here I am getting in some practice firing three-round bursts for accuracy.
While in Iraq, you get a one-week MWR trip to Qatar. On one of the trips we were allowed to take, this Qatari was selling camel rides. I didn't bother with it.
This is a mosque located on our FOB. No American was alloowed inside - even if you were security (like me) or an American Muslim.
I would love to tell you what this mural says, but I never got it translated. I'm pretty sure it dates back to when the Iraqi Army and Air Force were still under Saddam. It was located in a building on our FOB.
Here I am at the infamous Abu Ghraib. While in Baghdad, I ran into a friend of mine and was able to join one of his unit's convoys to this prison. This is, of course, prior to this facility being turned over to the Iraqis.
Here's what it looked like as we boarded the plane to fly to Iraq. I remember being both excited and nervous at the same time.
I took this photo while flying over Baghdad. It is the Grand Mosque which Saddam was building when the invasion occurred. When finished, it was supposed to be the largest mosque in the world. I doubt it will ever be completed.
Obama plans to emasculate US!
How can we negotiate arms/nuke reductions if we have no power to implement ours!? The only power we have over the Russians is our ability to blow them into radioactive dust!
How can we fend off the rising economic and (if history truly repeats itself) imperialistic power of the Chinese?!
How do we fend off the CURRENT and rising power of Islam (thanks to implementation of sharia around the western world) if we don’t have the political will NOR the military might??
Once again, another GOOD reason to vote Repub. Even though the current leadership lied to the American people to justify taking a shot at Saddam Hussein resulting in us invading Iraq and resulting in oil at $100+/barrel and $4/gal gas, and resulting in worldwide tolerance of Islamic extremism! At least the Reps. wouldn’t eliminate the US as the only world superpower!
