Well, sort of.
The liberal blogs are gushing over this video, which shows Barack Obama being greeted by a cheering crowd of Americans in Baghdad. Daily Kos says there were 3,000 cheering service men.
Here’s what I see - a large crowd, true. But 3,000? More like 1,000.

It’s getting to the point that the individual soldier on the battlefield has more gear than he can carry. So, now he’s got gear that he can wear, that will carry the gear he can’t.

Wow, after several months of relatively good news out of Iraq, it seems that today was the day to pile on with the bad. Here’s a couple of choice ones:
First up - a suicide bomber, probably employed by Al Qaida in Iraq, blew himself up at a funeral for a pair of Sunni “Awakening” fighters.

So, I’m sitting here watching this video on LiveLeak, thinking it’s going to be a typical “hooah” video with bad guys getting torn up by American A-10 bombers, when I realize that the British soldiers in the video are the ones getting shot at! (Content warning for language.)
